A life-long Anglican, Tasha was ordained in June 2019 and became vicar at St. Mary Magdalene’s in March 2021. Before that, she was Missioner for Parish Development with the Diocese of New Westminster and a trainer with the School for Parish Development. Tasha has a BA in Anthropology from McGill University and MDiv from Vancouver School of Theology. She also has a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language from Vancouver Community College.
In fall 2023 she joined her first choir, Maddalena’s Descant. Her family consists of her partner Mary Ann and their two young adult children, Hal and Levi. We live in Vancouver, just off Main Street, in a housing coop.
